"We've created a fit called, Elevated Fit...which is a way for us to celebrate diversity and create confidence in our wearers."

Founders, Athina Wang and Florence Shin sought out to create a product for themselves because they had a hard time finding a pair of luxury sunglasses that actually fit their face. After catching up one day, Athina and Florence found out they had the same pain points when it came to eyewear - they couldn't find a pair that worked for them and didn't lead to them sacrificing something. These founders created a crowdfunding campaign to kickstart their company which gained a lot of traffic. After crushing their goals, Covry was born!

Although it was never on their radar to become female founders in NYC, they are taking the process in stride. In the early days of Covry, they were still working full time jobs. In their spare time, they took baby steps to develop the business and took an organic approach through a challenging crowdfunding campaign. Towards the end of their kickstarter, they saw a huge spike in their campaign and tripled their goal to launch the brand and fund production. From then, they've seen multiple successes and can share their Elevated Fit with the world!
